The History Center allows you to access historical data on the MetaTrader 4 (MT4) platform. To do this, go to Tools => History Center or press F2. The amount of historical data available depends on the selected time interval, as there is a maximum number of bars (2,048 entries) for each timeframe. For example, if you select a small time interval (such as 1 minute), you may only be able to retrieve data for one or two days.
On the MT5 platform, once connected to the trading server, you immediately gain access to the full history of trading operations. You can also view actual tick data from the past several years, which allows for a more detailed analysis of market movements and more informed decision-making.
